Refuse disposal system - disintegrates floating organic substances from refuse sewage mixture in aerator for activated carbon filters

Domestic refuse and industrial waste is mixed in a stirrer zone with liq. sewage and heav particles are allowed to settle. Floating particles are passed through a disintegrator and returned to the sewage before the whole is passed through activated carbon filters. The organic floating particles supply valuable raw material for the activated carbon regeneration. This makes up the burn-up loss of activated carbon during its thermal regeneration.
