Control circuit for transistor pushpull inverter - has saturation transformer for feedback control with core windings carrying DC equal to half period flow
The saturation transformer primary is connected through a resistor in parallel with the invertor transformer primary winding. Its secondary winding is directly connected to control junctions of switching transistors. Two further windings (III1,III2) are provided on the saturation transformer (U1) core. They carry a current equal to the mean direct current flowing in each half-period, but flowing in the opposite direction. The series resistor in the saturation transformer (U1) primary circuit is replaced with a constant current circuit. Another embodiment utilises a circuit with the input voltage connected to an opposite diagonal of the main bridge.
