An adjustment system for the revolving cutting, stirring or raking devices in straining vats and cheese-making vats is actuated by compressed gas, contained in a pressure vessel on the revolving structure and controlled by an axially movable ring. A row of vertical ripping blades can be adjusting in one of three positions by an air cylinder with a central partition and two pistons and piston rods. The adjustment requires no stoppage. The device operates free from lubricant or other maintenance. It is proof against overheating and meets all explosion safety regulation.
