Multilayer paper for moulding concrete - to obtain ornamental patterns of smooth surfaces and exposed aggregate

The stop layer (1) of the paper contains a chemical retardant delaying the setting of the concrete and is covered in one or more zones by a coating which prevents the action of the retardant. Coating is pref. a panel with a larger thickness than the multilayer paper stack, the panel possessing rectangular and vertical edges. The panel is pref. impregnated with a water repellant or provided with a water-tight layer on its top surface. Panel is pref. made of cardboard and attached to layer (1) by adhesive. Alternatively, coating may consist of plastic foil, viz. PVC, polythene, polystyrene or similar foil.
