Equipment for coupling a large capacity refuse container with a reinforced top edge to a lifting roller. The container is supported by an axis fitted with two wheels and by a beam provided with support blocks. Attached to the beam is an attachment part for the lifting roller which is positioned in the middle of the beam and is at least partly fitted on the container wall at its transition part between bottom and front wall. The attachment part consists of a downwards curved front hook which is engaging a coupling device (20) of the lifting roller mounted on free end of a beam (22). Attached to the beam (22) is a vertically inclined arm (15) which is supporting the reinforced top edge (4) of the container when the lifting roller is coupled to the container.
