Prestressed roll ring for roller bearing - has ring support surfaces inclined at angle to shaft axle with prestress magnitude determined by torque spanner
The roll ring (2) for a roller bearing is prestressed and has surfaces which are supported on the driving shaft (3) or a fixed sleeve (1). These surfaces are inclined at an angle to the shaft axle. The magnitude of the prestressing is determined by the use of a torque spanner or through the positioning of a cup spring between the fixed sleeve and the nut (14) located in the outer sleeve (13) of the bearing. By corresponding selection of the angle of inclination the force component (Qa), which acts axially in the bearing over the circlip lock ring (16), can be received by the roll ring.
