Electrically heated curling tongs incorporates steam generation and is fitted with a hollow cylindrical winding body for the strains of hair. A steam chamber and heating element are built-in in co-axial arrangement. A cover has a floor directed towards the steam chamber and has a heating cartridge fitted inside it. On the front end of the curling tongs and in front of the steam chamber, a water tank with dispenser is fitted. An immersion cover (8) adjustable in the axial direction of the winding body (1) is fitted to provide a stageless adjustable heat output at the steam head (11, 1) of the heating element.
