Moving dolls eye with sideways pivoting pupil - has carrier in pivot body which pivots vertically inside eye housing

This movable dolls eye contains an eye which can move sideways as well as open and close. It consists of a housing (1) which holds the movable eye made up a pupil carrier (3) and a pivot body (4). The pupil carrier (3) pivots from side to side on vertical pegs (5, 6) inside the pivot body (4) while the pivot body pivots up and down on horizontal pegs (9) inside the eye housing (1). Fixed to the lower part of the pupils carrier (3) close to the lower pivot (6) is an eccentric weight (13) which ensures that the eye moves as the doll is laid on its back or its side. The pupil carrier (6) comprise an natural looking iris, which is partly covered by eye lashes (18) fitted to the eye lid covering above the iris. This provides a dolls eye which moves in a natural manner.
