Three-phase electric current cable system for water-cooled high power cables consists of three parallel laid wires of discrete cables. The coolant medium travels through a cooling station connected to the wires. To reduce erection costs without significantly reducing the power transmission capability of the proposed system compared with a system having feed-back tubes or pipes, the cooling station is installed at the centre of the cable wiring system so that the latter is divided into two-sub-systems having equal lengths of cable. The coolant inflow is carried out through two cable wires, with the feedback or return being completed via the third cable wire. More specific inflow is taken via the two outer lying wires and the return flow via the centre wire.
