Plastics tie band for wire bundle - has perforations between ribs allowing projections in clamp slot to hold band tight

The plastics tie band is used to hold bundles of cables and wires. It consists of a perforated band that loops around the wires and which is drawn tight to hold the wires together. The band is held tight by a clamping device (11) having a slot through which the ends of the band (1) pass. The slot contains projections (15) that locate in the perforations (8) in the band. The perforations are positioned along one side of the band. The band is strengthened by three ribs (2, 3, 6) running along it - two along the edges and one next to the perforations.
