Copper sheet rain channel runoff bend - has sheet deep drawn in central region to form pipe bend half shell

The rain channel runnoff bend is preferably made from copper sheet. A section of suitable length and width is first cut off and then deep drawn in its central region to form a pipe bend half shell. In a third production stage the remaining side edges of the shell are formed in a final deep drawing operation to give quater shells. These edges contact one another so that their radially extended ends are cut off and the remaining contacting edges are joined e.g. by spot welding, electron beam welding or flange folding.
