Injection moulding sandwich construction mouldings - with core and skin streams separately regulated before combining at injection nozzle

The material is divided in a housing into two independently regulated streams between the injector and the nozzle, one stream is for the core and the other for the surface skin of the mouldings. The two streams flow coaxially together at the nozzle with the skin material outside the core material. The streams pass through separate chambers which enable their temp. and mixing treatments to be controlled separately. Complete control over the thermal and mixing treatments is achieved.
