The curtain system consists of two curtains of synthetic leather. The upper edges of the curtains (1, 2) are held on bars (3, 4) and are separated at regular intervals by cross cords (5) connected at each end on reinforcement rods (6, 7) in the curtains. Above the curtains in a coiling shaft (8) operated by an electric motor. The coils pull cables (10) between coil plates (9). The free end of the pull cable is fixed to a wrapper bar (11) fitted to the base of the curtains so that as the curtain is drawn up the wrapper bar (11) catches the cross cords (5) to draw up and fold the curtain.
