Plug connection for flexible plastic hose - uses compressible clamp sleeve inside screw fitting with lugs to bite onto hose

A plug connection for plastic hoses has clamp sleeve (8) which plugs into a screw nipple (1). The clamp sleeve (8) which is made from a hard elastic material, has two diametrically opposite lugs (16). The lugs are partially separated from the sleeve body so that they can be compressed radially. With the hose end located inside the clamp sleeve (8), the sleeve is plugged into the screw fitting (1). External shoulders (17) on the radial lugs (16) are engaged inside an internal location groove (2) on the screw fitting. The lugs are thus compressed so that the hose inside is firmly held in its location.
