Cord operated roller shutter activating mechanism - has free cord end forming suspended loop at case outlet and clamp

The mechanism for roller shutter operation, esp. suitable for mounting on small windows, involves a draw cord, with a shutter case containing a spindle and drive roller, cord outlet opening, and a clamp device for the cord activating line. The clamp device (12) is mounted on the roller shutter case (2), and the free end of the cord (6b) is attached in the area of the outlet opening (11),forming a freely suspended loop (6c). The end is pref. fastened to the case. The clamp device can incorporate a base piece (13) supporting a swivelling clamping socket (14), the cord end being attached to the base piece. The clamp device may be fitted to any of the sides of the case, and can be applied to windows with small soffit depth, or without soffit.
