The transmission method is for speech signals. The transmitter, by analysis of the signals describing its lower register generates reduced redundancy signals. At the receiver the original signal is regenerated with sufficient approximation. Before analysis, the signal is filtered using a filter with fixed zeros corresponding to the fourth and sometimes higher formant harmonic, and the receiver contains a complementary filter. The costs and channel capacity are reduced, whilst speech quality is improved.
