Loading and unloading barrels from palette - uses loading machine with conveyor tracks and height adjustable clamping jaws

During the loading operation the barrels are run on to a separate conveyor installation, are there lined up and tensioned by height adjustable devices. The conveyor installation is then moved sideways and the tensioned barrels are then placed on to the palette which is moved out after the height adjustable devices have been raised. During the depalettising the barrels are tensioned on the arriving palette and are then placed on to the conveyor device after the palette has been pushed out. The height adjustable devices are then detached and raised with finally the barrels being individually removed through the conveyor and the attached transport track. The installation used includes a machine frame (1) with separate transport tracks (2, 3, 4) and a conveyor installation located within the machine frame and capable of horizontal movement with a palette table positioned below it. Above the conveyor there is a frame (7) with height adjustable clamping jaws (8) to line up the barrels (9).
