Fluid-crystal indicator with fluorescent plate - placed behind fluid-crystal layer in observation direction to represent analogue values on scale

In order to represent analogue values on a scale, the fluid crystal layer is positioned in front of one of the sides of the fluorescent plate. All the other sides of this plate are completely metallised, whereas the first side does not have any reflecting layer at least in a region forming the light exit window. The indicator can have a temp. scale (4) with divisions, the fluid crystal layer being split up into individual sections, each assigned to one of the scale divisions. The clearing point temp. of the fluid crystal substance corresponds to the temp. shown by the scale division in question.
