A camera exposure control has a trigger circuit which produces an operating signal for an electromagnet. The latter controls the time during which the shutter is open. The trigger circuit is operated by a function of the release device before the exposure control process occurs. A circuit consisting of a switch (55) a resistor (R4), a capacitor (C2) and a transistor (Tr3) is so connected to the trigger circuit consisting of two transistors (Tr1, Tr2) that it prevents the electromagnet (Mg) being reactivated as the shutter release (1) returns to its original position.
