The automatic fuse-making machine, for fuses consisting of fuse wire enclosed in a tube between two end caps, has two parallel-rotating discs with holes in their circumferences and stopping in sequence opposite five work stations. The first station feeds the tubes into the holes in the first disc. The second station inserts the fuse wire into the tubes. the third station adds the end caps and bends the end of the fuse wire round so that it is held between tube and cap. Tin solder is inserted at this station. the fourth station melts the solder. The fifth station cools the solder.
