Constant current generator independent of fluctuations of ambient temperature has power source, transistors, resistors and base current supply. A first current (I1) and a second current (I2) are generated from the power source, and the ratio of the second to the first current is maintained at a predetermined value. The collectors of the first and second transistor (Q1, Q2) are connected to the power source (4), so that the first current (I1) and the second current (I2) flow through the respective transistor (Q1, Q2). A first resistor (R1) is connected to the emitter of the first transistor (Q1). Base current is supplied to the two transistors (Q1, Q2) according to the voltage leve of one collector.
