The corner connection, for windows, doors or similar, uses a narrower profiled unit insertable in a wider one. There is one pair of interfacing wedge grooves (4), parallel and dovetail-sectioned, formed in the end area in the inner surface of two sidewalls (5) of the second profile (2), while a second similarly shaped pair runs at right angles to the length of the first profile. These are formed in the outside of two sidewals (8) of the first profile, at a suitable interval from one end (9). The first profile is inserted in the end area of the second so that the two sets of dovetail grooves form two assembled grooves with dovetailed end cross-sections. These have V-shaped sectioned protrusions projecting into them. A wedge (6), matching the assembled wedge grooves in cross-section, is fitted in them.
