摘要
A suspension of microscopically small cells having intracellular enzymatic activity is admixed with a crosslinking reagent. Mixt. obtd. is frozen. Frozen cells are then thawed in an organic solvent or in water. Alternatively, an organic solvent is added to cell suspension followed by addn. of crosslinking reagent. The cells are then frozen, thawed and, if necessary, dried, pref. under a low temp., e.g. freeze-dried. Intracellular enzymes carried by cells are fixed. The fixed enzymes can be used industrially, in column packing processes for continuous reactions.
