An oxidn. catalyst consists of not 2 oxide catalysts derived from elements of Gp. VIA, VIIA and VIIIB, and not 1 activating metal from the Pt. gp. The catalysts are more heat-resistant, less sensitive to poisoning, and cheaper than catalysts based on the Pt. gp.
