Telescopic crane jib - has at least two telescoping open structure members for transporting jib in compact form

The crane jib has an outer section which is fixed to the crane tower. Within this outer section slides an internal section. Both these sections have triangular cross section. The jib sections are built up as open structures with rectangular hollow profiles at both base corners. The upper surfaces of these hollow rectangular profiles form rails in horizontal plane for the crane trolley. Parallel with these rails are arranged guide rails for ensuring smooth transition from the rails of the outer section to the rails of the inner section. The trolley has adjustable axles for both rails and cylindrical wheels for travelling purposes. A guiding member on the trolley wheel axles rests against the sides of the rails.
