Containers such as bowls or trays consisting of two parts fastened together, are injection moulded in two operations from synthetic resin, possibly in different colours and/or of different compsn. The inner section is designed with a thickened rim, at or below the level at which the container is to be filled, and the mould is arranged so that when the second shot is injected, the outer rim encloses the inner, forming a rigid inseparable joint.
