Pouring attachment for bottles and similar container including a cylindrical insert part for locating it in outlet end of the bottle and a cylindrical pouring part attached to the top of the insert part. Between the insert part and the pouring part a circular flange is located with a horizontal and a downwards projecting side which, with the attachment in position, covers the top of the bottle neck. The cylindrical insert, which is conically shaped, is provided on its outer surface with radial projections or ribs and the pouring part, which is also conically shaped, has a sharp pouring edge round its circumference. The attachment is enclosed by a cap which projects into the covers, at least partly, the pouring part.
