Building with concrete strip foundations - uses precast reinforced concrete elements as datum elements

The building uses concrete strip foundations bearing dwarf walls (4) and confining rubble (7) to support the floor slab (9). Precast reinforced concrete datum elements are incorporated into the construction, these being sectional floor slab perimeter beams (8) and window frames (15, 16). The floor beams (8) are set on top of the dwarf foundation wall (4) and used as a guide for screeding the reinforced concrete floor slab (9), and pref. have longitudinal chainage guides. The frames are pref. sub-divided into two posts (16) with head (17) and sill (15) beams, and have embedded bolts for attachment to templates which are used during the pouring of the surrounding concrete wall (14).
