Modular panel construction for vapour-proof, insulated chamber - uses extended vapour shield to overlap the vapour shields of adjacent panels

A vapour-proof, thermally-insulated chamber with its vertical walls and ceiling made up of modular construction panels is claimed; each panel comprises a rectangular framework which provides cavities to be filled with insulating material, and the face of the panel to be presented towards the chamber interior is coated with a lining material which covers a vapour shield disposed between the lining and the framework, the vapour shield extending beyond the edges of the framework on all sides. In the mfr. of chambers in which controlled conditions of humidity and temp. can be maintained, partic. drying and/or freezing processes. An inexpensive modular construction of a highly efficient panel which can be used for making up chambers of all sizes with rapidly joined vapour shields.
