Time keeping clock for shift workers - has drums counter with common drive mechanism and mechanical couplings

The time keeping clock is used to totalise the hours worked by a number of shift workers and uses a number of counters, each having several number drums, which can be connected to a common drive mechanism synchronised in time. The drive mechanism comprises a gear wheel train and a synchronous motor, to which the different counters can be coupled. Pref. each of the counters has an associated coupling pinion (14) mounted on a rocker arm (15) and in permanent engagement with the drive mechanism. This pinion is engaged or disengaged from a drive pinion (12) for the counter by a lever (16) controlling the rocker arm (15) and operated by turning a key.
