The adaptor (1) is screwed into the extinguisher fluid pipe (10) and holds studs (4a, 4b) which act as guides for a collar (6). This holds a glass ampoule (3) against a plug (2) in the adaptor outlet and has a predetermined pressure applied by means of calibrated springs (7a, 7b). The retaining strap (80) at the ends of the studs has a short bolt (81), centrally placed and projecting downwards. This bolt runs in a sleeve bush (84) on the strap and has a bladder propellor (90) at its end. The propellor is free running (82, 83) and is rotated when the extinguisher liquid escapes, the rotation ensuring better distribution and dispersion of the fluid.
