Combined emergency stop and regulating valve for steam turbine units, where the emergency stop and regulating valve bodies are fitted coaxially to each other in a common housing, and controllable independently from each other. The regulating valve (3) is located downstream from the emergency closure valve (2) and opens with the steam flow, whilst the regulating valve body (22) is formed as discharge or servo-piston. The emergency stop valve (2) is fitted with a pilot valve (9) for preasure unloading of the valve parts, which is arranged on the end of a spindle (8), and by means of which, via valve seats (12, 13), both pressure discharge and valve stroke are executed.
