The motorised cultivator has its front wheel replaced by two wheels (9) in line with the existing rear wheels, (11). These front wheels fit onto a shaft which is held between spring loaded arms (1). Each arm pivots on the cultivator frame and its front end, holding the shaft bearing, retains one end of a spring (8). The other end is fixed to a common bar (13) across the front and the tension in each spring can be adjusted. Each set of front and rear wheels is equipped with an endless track (12), driven from the rear wheels. The machine weight and operating forces are better distributed.
