A two-way pneumatic distributor, has seven orifices. One channel (12) is the supply and two others the outputs (25, 26) which may be selected by applying pressure at either of the two selector inlets (9, 10). When an output is not selected, it is vented through another orifice (27, 28). The moving armature (1) does not require any close tolerance fitting to the body (2), because it is driven by membranes (5, 6) which close off the chambers (51, 52) supplied by the selector orifices (9, 10). A magnetic disc (17) and U-shaped magnet (60, 61) which assist in control of the transfer valve (15, 16) ensure rapid switching action and a hold capability which maintains armature position in the event of selector pressure failure.
