Pneumatic spray painting process - uses classic colours diluted to nearly fluid state for stereoscopic effect

The decorating process uses paint applied with a compressed-air spray pistol. Classic colours are used and are diluted to render them nearly fluid while allowing a certain stereoscopic effect. Working can be at right angles to the surface to give the stereoscopic effect, or obliquely to give dashes or a dispersal effect. Successive colours applied to give a thickness can be arranged to harden slowly and merge together to provide a shading effect. The decorative effects can be applied to a paint base put on in the normal manner.
