The recorderis of the type which records on a chart the evolution with time of a given quantity. It comprises a chassis (10) resting on a base (11) and having a plate (15) carried by a cheek (14). The plate (15) forms a recording table on which a chart (18) unrolls between two rollers (19, 20). The cheek (14) carries two shafts (21, 22) on which the rollers (19, 20) are mounted. A synchronous motor (32) acts as a drive mechanism. The receiver may be a galvanometer (37) which receives an electrical voltage from a sensor proportional to the quantity to be recorded.
