The magazine rack (1) is made from plastic and has a rear vertical wall with two slots for mounting on the bathroom wall, using screws. The front wall diverses outwards from the bottom, this being flat or rounded. Inside the open mouth at the top is an additional rack (2) for books. This is in the form of a long narrow trough fixed to the rear wall of the rack. At one end is a shallow tray (8) holding a removable metal or porcelain ashtray (9) at the other end are two compartments, one shallow (6) for a pencil rubber, the other deeper (5) for holding pencils.
