The pneumatic distributor with an auxiliary manual control has an intermediate plate (4) between its body (1) and base (3). The plate has passages providing communication between the base and body. The plate has a manually controlled pilot switch (5) providing a pneumatic signal (m) and receiving pressure through a passage (14) in the base. An OR-gate (8) receives a signal (m) from the pilot switch (7) and a normal pilot signal (x). The OR-gate delivers a signal (m or x) to the pilot orifice (9). The manually operated pilot valve has a member (17) which is biased away from a seat by a spring (23).
