1526318 Mould linings for cast foam BAYER AG 4 Oct 1976 [7 Oct 1975] 41035/76 Heading B5A A method of producing block-form polyurethane foam comprises introducing the foamable mixture into a duct having its sides and/or any ceiling and/or floor at least partially covered with foam lining formed of a material containing urethane and/or isocyanurate and/or carbodiimide groups. The lining may be in sheet form up to 50 mm. thick and may comprise flexible, semi-rigid or rigid polyurethane polyisocyanurate polycarbodiimide, and/or be based on polyester, polycarbonate or polyether. The lining may have a different colour to the cast foam, may be fire-retardant, and may be flocked, printed or laminated to textiles. The lining may be formed directly into sheet form or indirectly by cutting, stamping, milling block-foamed material.
