The game is suitable for several players and uses a board with a map of the world. This is marked with cities, linked by airline routes. A bank of cards or airline "tickets" is provided and stacked face downwards on the board. Each player, in turn, takes the top card and can either move his piece, if the card has a suitable destination, or retain it; this permits accumulation of cards for longer journeys. Penalty and bonus cards are included and these must be played immediately. Joker cards permit any choice of journey to be made.
