摘要
Arginine deoxyribonucleate (I) is prepd. by (a) passing an aq. soln. of the Na salt of DNA through a column filled with an aq. suspension of a resin on which L-arginine (II) is adsorbed, (b) adjusting the pH of the effluent to a value close to neutrality with H2O, (c) stirring the effluent with acetone and ageing it at low temp. (d) washing the resulting ppte. with acetone and ether, and (e) drying the product in a warm air stream. The product is a powder with a water-solubility of ca. 10% and an ash content of 0.2% which can be administered orally or by intramuscular injection for the treatment of asthenia, it has a synergistic effect, combining the endocellular stimulating action of DNA and the hepatic detoxicating action of (II). The Na-DNA soln. is pref. centrifuged before contact with the (II)-resin column. The resin is pref. 'Amberlite CG 120' (RTM), pretreated with HCl and washed neutral with H2O. The arginine is adsorbed on the pretreated resin by contacting the latter with an 8% soln. of (II) and washing to neutrality. The whole process is pref. carried out at low temp. (esp. at ca 5 degrees C).
