The cinema film winding and unwinding machine comprises two identical reels located in the same vertical plan which are mounted on a rigid frame. Two rollers rotate about the same axis and are attached at the ends of two arms which are pivoted to the frame. Two springs acting against the pivoting arms tend to push the rollers against the film surface while it is being wound and unwound. They have a diameter which is slightly in excess of that of the film reel, which is housed in two small cylindrical containers for locating it during the winding process.
