The suspended false ceiling comprising a number of independent identical elements arranged on a draught-board design. Each element consists of one or more thin strips of material (1) arranged vertically following the faces of a polygonal-base prism. Where the strips of material are rigid, they are suspended from the supporting structure by cords. Where they are flexible, a frame (2) is inserted inside the strips. The ceiling can be varied by changing the material or the shape of the individual elements. Air is allowed to circulate freely.
