The enamel to be applied consists of an epoxy resin to which hardener and pigment are added at time of use. Several such mixtures, differently pigmented are applied to the panel according to the effect desired as the pigmented resins do not easily mix. The differently coloured areas can be made to interpenetrate e.g. by the use of a pointed tool, without the colours mixing. Solid particles can be incorporated in the pigmented resin, in which they become embedded. These lend glitter to the finished product.
