The weight ticket (1) is used for joints of meat in an abattoir or supermarket and has an attached sheet (3) whose rear surface has a carbon copying coating (5), so that data written on the front of this sheet (3) is transferred to the ticket (1). The rear of the ticket (1) has a self-adhesive coating, which is covered by a peel-off layer, while the carbon copying coating (5) is only provided on the rear of the removable sheet (3) in the areas reserved for recording data, the rest of it being gummed for securing it to the ticket. The removable sheet may have a longitudinal cut (21) across it so that it can be removed in sections.
