The removable hammock type bed may be fitted in a caravan and is fairly easily removable. It consists of a flexible reinforced base (1) which can be canvas, plastics etc. On this is fitted a cloth (2) on to which is placed a mattress of any type which is suitably shaped. This is held down by a cover which is sewn on. Straps 2' are fitted diagonally with buckles and spring clips at their ends. The clips, two per strap end, fit into holes in a hinge assembly (7). The hinge assembly is screwed to a wall - either both halves flat or bent with one half on each side of a wall corner.
