The plant is for blast-cleaning the recessed channel guidage tracks of slidably demountable caisson gates in hydraulic structures. It removes the sediment which habitually collects in the corners of a canal invert, and comprises a rigid panel (10) of which the dimensions are slightly less than the gate. A pipe (12) with a series of holes emitting compressed air runs across the base of the panel. The panel is equipped with compressed air feeds (15) and may be handled by a crane. It is slid down the caisson gate tracks, and compressed air directed onto the canal invert and the track bases. the panel is then withdrawn and the gate inserted.
