The two plough bodies are supported by a plough beam (5) the end of which are formed of two symmetrical projections (5a, 5b) each supporting an axle (13, 14). The axles rest against two semi-cylindrical bearings (15, 16) on a support forming part of the plough frame (1). The axles (13, 14) are held against the bearings (15, 16) by means of a rod (17) hinged on the support (1a) by an axle (18). The back end of the rod (17) passes through a helical spring (26) against which it is held by a nut (28) and washer (27). When the plough trips on striking an obstacle, the spring is compressed and returns the plough to its working position automatically.
