The end support for simply supported rod curtain rails (8) provides support on a wall (M) which is perpendicular to the rail (8) axis, and permits the edge of the curtain to align flush with the wall. The support comprises a wall-mounted spigot (4) and an open sleeve (2). The sleeve (2) attaches to the end of the rail (8) and is fitted over the spigot (4) by successive lateral and rotary rail movements. The spigot may be of uniform circular section with an axial hole providing for wall fixture (7). The sleeve section approximates to that of a 'U' with a semi circular base. The end curtain suspension ring (9) is located between the sleeve (2) and the spigo root (5).
