The mixer tap has a cylindrical body (1) which connects onto the piping, and allows water to the chamber (2) through the inlet pipe (4) for cold water and a similar pipe for hot water. The pipes are valved off by the plug (13). The chamber (2) connects with the water delivery spout (11). The plug (13) is able to move on the surface (3) in such a way as to connect the passage (15) and other parallel passages with the water pipes and uncover more or less of the water pipe area thus controlling the flow from the pipe. The handle (28) controls the movement of the plug through the lever (20).
